The WEA728S45G is a wide band fractional–N frequency synthesizer allowing phase synchronization with other synthesizers suitable for applications where phase coherency is required, such as phased array systems. It uses a reference input ranging from 25 MHz to 300 MHz. The reference signal can be generated with an external crystal connected to the integrated crystal oscillator or fed as a CMOS single ended or LVDS differential signal. The WEA728S45G generates RF signals spanning from 7 GHz up to 14 GHz and from 14 GHz to 28 GHz from two single ended outputs. The WEA728S45G is powered by 1.8 V supply.It is implemented in the GlobalFoundries 45RFSOI process.
